About Volt

Volt was an autodidactic polymath, raised on the rough streets of Brooklyn New York in the 80s 90s.

From the very start, he became deeply rooted in martial practices, and studied extensively the mental and physical arts of Ancient Warriors.

Armed with an inner voice of Advancement, Volt overcame his conditions, to become his OWN.

Volt believes that a Warrior's energy is the best kind for coming at life in all of its spectrum. As a mentor to many, in 2018, Volt was persuaded by others to take to that of writing, producing his first treatise, Niō Zen, 仁王, Beyond Sissy Buddhism, where he offers an awakened wrathful approach to Buddhistic thought.

Not for everyone, Volt is that kind of writer that speaks to that rare breed of Warriors finding themselves trapped in a realm of passivity.

"Who are you? They ask. But a ghost, that is all, a phantasm.

When one gives their name, it is the name of their character; character being the sum of one's values; value being that which one seeks to gain, cultivate, and/or sustain and defend. Character is a Persona, Persona is a mask. One's mask is one's symbolic representation. Human minds deal solely in symbolic frameworks."

"One can not know of another that which they have not come to know of themselves viz. identifiable attributes, and traits.

When one has no standard of assessment of character, they have no means to answer any question concerning the self and others. Whatever answer that would be given to those ignorant of character can only be a ghost and a phantasm being described."
